Sarah Goldsmith
Sarah has worked with children and young people for a long
time, starting with Brownies and Guides; through to youth work with the British
Army in Germany; running holiday clubs in leisure centres and working as a
‘groupie’ at PGL.
After completing the Playwork Degree at Leeds Met she
started working at Meynell Games delivering playwork training and running
afterschool and holiday clubs. Now she is working for East Sussex Young Carers, running the youth clubs and
activities and support online through facebook.
Sarah has learnt a lot about the social media site she didn’t know before!
She has recently started thinking about playfulness and how
having a playful attitude affects the whole of your outlook on life. What’s the
next step...?
Sarah was given a Ukulele for her birthday and is working
out how to play it, but needs a lot of practice, and maybe a few lessons! A
playful attitude is definitely needed!
