Hattie Coppard
Hattie Coppard is Director of Snug & Outdoor (www.snugandoutdoor.co.uk), a small company of artists who design original play spaces for local authorities, charities and schools.
S&O’s experimental playground projects transform everyday environments into flexible playful spaces that children can alter and build for themselves: the SNUG playground kit is a development of these projects and now used in schools and public places all over the country.
Snug & Outdoor are currently designing the Magic Garden for Hampton Court Palace, which will be a wondrous, adventurous, play landscape that extends the extraordinary experience of the Tudor palace (due to open March 2015).
Hattie has just completed her MA in Play and Play work at the University of Gloucestershire!
