Mike Wragg
Mike Wragg is a lecturer in Playwork at Leeds Metropolitan
University. Recent publications include
‘Towards an Inversion of the Deficit Model of Intervention in Children’s Play’
in the European Journal of Early Childhood Education, and the forthcoming
‘Playwork as an Area of Resistance to the Political Economy of
Competitiveness’. Mike also has an
active role with the Big Swing Adventure Playground in Bradford, West
Yorkshire, which he was a key figure in setting up as a Play Development
Officer in 2004.
