Mick Conway
Mick Conway started his playwork career on Bermondsey adventure playground by complete accident in 1978. Latterly, he managed various programmes at Play England and is now a freelance consultant, occasional writer and born-again painter. Along the way he (again mostly accidentally) helped to create Playday, write Quality in Play and devise the Playwork Principles. His ambition is to help knit together people and organisations – whoever they may be - that are passionate about children’s play rights and freedoms.
