Ben Tawil

Ben Tawil is currently a Senior Lecturer in Childhood and Family Studies. Prior to this, Ben worked for Play Wales as a National Development Officer, for Bradford MDC as the Adventure Playground Manager, as Assistant Manager at ‘The Venture’ in Wrexham, and as a Director of Nursery Action Group in Hebden Bridge. He was also a Baker, a Joiner, apprentice electrician, a Dancer, and Plasterer.

What would those people who think a child’s play determines their future adult vocation make of that!

Ben loves, Detroit techno, Deep House, road cycling, his wife and children, and Play and Playwork.and, the trail of destruction kids leave behind them when they come in from school and the fact that when it is drawn to their attention they have absolutely no recollection of doing it.
