The Conference Sessions are designed to meet the needs of all those involved in play and playwork.
It is our aim to improve the quality of children’s play lives by supporting the professional development of the adults who work in the sector.
In this years programme there is something for everyone. From the newest playworker to the most experienced playwork trainer and all in between!
And it’s not just for the face to face playworker and trainer! There are opportunities for support workers, development workers and commissioning officers to also upskill and update themselves.
Historically this Conference has aimed to support those involved in the delivery of the Playwork NVQ and SVQ and this will continue so there are sessions aimed specifically at NVQ/SVQ assessors, internal verifiers and external verifiers.
There are also going to be sessions supporting the delivery of other qualifications so all tutors and training providers delivering playwork qualifications should come.
Local Authority training officers will benefit from the opportunity to find out about all playwork qualifications ‘under one roof’.
Other workers from local authorities will also find it useful to hear about all the current developments and attend strategy briefings as well as meeting the exhibitors.
