What makes teamwork work?

The session will be delivered in a very informal way utilising a slide presentation. Questions, discussion and debate will be encouraged. The session will examine what teams and groups are factors which affect participation, life cycle of a team, team roles, and how to overcome barriers within teams. Team leadership will also be discussed. The Playwork Principles and National Occupational Standards will be linked and discussed.

Conflict resolution amongst staff

The session will be delivered in a very informal way utilising a slide presentation. Questions, discussion and debate will be encouraged. The session will examine what conflict is, what myths surround it and how people, both employees and managers natural responses are to it. Conflict will be viewed in a positive way with the focus on successful resolution for all parties as the outcome. Discussion of complaints management will also be discussed within this session, highlighting how this should be welcomed and embraced and managed successfully. The Playwork Principles and National Occupational Standards will be linked and discussed.
